Who are we?
This is Katherine & her Mummy Anne... many, many moons ago !
Why are we called MARY, TOM & friends?
MARY is Katherine's grandma (and Anne's mummy!). She taught Mummy Anne how to knit and she in turn taught Katherine how to knit. This is how we got started, selling our own crafted goods and markets and events.
TOM is Katherine's grandad (her Daddy's Dad). He was a Barber before changing profession to own and run chip shops on the Fylde Coast before retiring. Katherine gets her head for business from him!
& friends are all the friends we meet in the shop (that's you lovely lot!) and the wonderful people who choose to stock their creations with us.
Why do you use BLUE, YELLOW & PINK as your main colours?
Some of you eagle-eyed people will have seen that we have 3 main colours which we love to use. We took the three lighthouses of Fleetwood as our inspiration.
BLUE represents the Wyre Light out there in the sea.
YELLOW represents the Beach or Lower Lighthouse.
PINK represents the Pharos or Upper Lighthouse.
The colours are also very seasidey and make us smile whenever we see them!
